George Michael's manager was surprised by the main version of the singer's death
British singer George Michael has died at the age of 53, presumably from heart failure. The singer's manager, Michael Lippman, told the Daily Express newspaper that George Michael was found "lying peacefully in bed" on Sunday, December 25, in the UK's Thames Valley district, where he lived. Lippman ruled out a violent cause of death for the musician, but called the version of heart failure unexpected.
