Kudrin refused to join the public council of Rosstat due to a conflict of interest
The head of the Accounts Chamber, Alexei Kudrin, refused Maxim Oreshkin’s offer to join the public council of Rosstat. Kudrin said this on Saturday, June 8, at a session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum dedicated to data openness, Interfax reports. Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Economic Development, Maxim Oreshkin, invited the head of the Accounts Chamber to join the public council under Rosstat to develop a “road map” for improving the statistics service.
