For the Moscow Biennale 2015, Anton Vidokle prepared a video screening and performance. “The Communist Revolution Was Caused by the Sun” is a video in which Vidokle delves into the research of Russian cosmism and presents the reasoning of Alexander Chizhevsky, who argued that human activities (such as wars, revolutions and others) are caused by solar activity. The project is commented on by philosopher and cultural theorist Keti Chukhrov.

For the 6th Moscow Biennale, Luc Tuymans created one of his largest canvases. Since he could not be present in Moscow during the ten days of the exhibition, the artist arrived a week earlier.
