We are all terribly short on time. I don’t have enough to call an old friend, read a serious novel, have a long-term relationship, or watch the snow falling outside the window. We are terribly worried that life is passing us by, that we won’t have time to see, try, experience everything. Our normal state today is waiting. We have all completely surrendered to the future.
