Man lives in conditions of polyrhythm. It is subject to biological, psychological, social rhythms, and they all interact with each other. Conflicting rhythms, such as social and personal, give rise to a state of painful arrhythmia in a person. In addition to the fact that a person tries to somehow combine them, he creates new ones, for example, periodically flipping through pages on Facebook. Technological progress increases the mismatch of rhythms affecting humans.

April 4 at the theater. Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko, as part of the festival and the Golden Mask award, the play “White. Petersburg". The genre of the performance, which is competing for an award in eight categories (operetta/musical), is designated as “mystery in two acts.” Is it fair to talk about any of these genres in this case?

Not long ago, I came across a post on one of the social networks that, as they say, struck a nerve. It was about dumping* and competition among musicians. Moreover, in several aspects: between invited soloists, between teacher and student, between instrumental masters. The author of the post asks the question: what motivates musicians who give lessons?

The sword slips out of Romeo's hands, the corps de ballet doesn't know where to stand, the curtain falls at the wrong time, the lights don't turn on - failure? It’s too early to grab your head, the Moscow premiere is tomorrow, and today at the run-through you still can’t give your all, tease each other on stage, don’t calculate the jump, but the next day you have to be the best of the best.

Music. It is intended not only to express the soul of the composer himself, but also to help the listener to open up. An infinite number of works are devoted to the topic of the human soul, and not only in the field of musical art. But often it is joined by another equally important topic - fate. In the works of S.V. This certainly resonates with Rachmaninov, and with the Russian spirit characteristic of his work. And I would like to show this, using the example of two opuses (op. 3 and op.

Provocative outfits, numbers bordering on pornography. Did students from the Yekaterinburg State Theater Institute or Sasha Gray’s personal theater troupe come to Khanty-Mansiysk? The ticket says 16+. The play is called “Both in jest and seriously.” Before watching, look at a short note that says that real stories from our daily lives await us, which will be shown through dance miniatures, rhythmic compositions and plastic ikebana performed by young students.

Almost 50 years have passed since the Strugatskys’ “Afternoon”. "Afternoon" heroes focused on the interaction of advanced human society of the 22nd century with lagging civilizations (the Middle Ages in "Hard to Be a God" and a mixture of imperialism and totalitarianism of the mid-20th century in "The Inhabited Island"), to which they tried to introduce reasonable, good and eternal. The collision of an idealistic future with the past or present—this was the artistic concept of ABS.

It happens sometimes: there is neither the strength nor the motivation to do something important, urgent... Someone is looking for doping, someone goes to the forest or for a run. And some simply remember the characters of their favorite books or films. It so happened that since childhood, the film “Open Book” (1977) became such a “magic kick-off” for me.

Some believe that the Universe arose on its own, others believe that it has a Creator. Scientology believes that all people are co-authors of this great Book: “If we talk about the world as a Universe, the Universe in which we live, then each of us lives in our own Universe. We, each, live in our own Universe. Who created it for us? Yes, we created it for ourselves, it is our creation. Our Universe is our creation. We create something consciously, something unconsciously, but we create it.

The Center for Creative Industries “Factory” presents the project “Fake Finns” by photographer Aino Väänänen (Finland/UK), implemented as part of the “Artist in Residence” program, which will open on April 14 at 19:00 in the “Finishing Shop” space. The series “Unreal Finns” by Aino Väänänen consists of twelve pairs of photographs. Each portrait depicts people from different backgrounds living in Finland, paired with a landscape that symbolizes their personal connection to the country.

If you listen to a room for a very long time, the room begins to listen to you. This is a brief summary of the play “I am sitting in a room” by Dmitry Volkostrelov and Dmitry Vlasik. The result: music is in time and music is space, the audience is perplexed. Almost half a century ago, American composer Alvin Lussier (who, having met John Cage, began to think and write differently) came up with I am sitting in a room.

"I would trade all my technology in one day with Socrates" Steve Jobs High tech burst into our lives like a whirlwind, blew up our consciousness, and changed our thinking. It became a style, gave breathtaking competition to established traditions and declared to everyone and everything that its time had come! The time has come for experiments, humor, radio waves, electric rays and, of course, Tesla currents!

Svetoslav and Yaroslav When I became a parent, the idea came up to make a photographic book for children. I began photographing images of Russian fairy tales. At first it was a series of staged shots, but then I began to notice that some of the scenes found fit quite well into this fairy-tale series. My small series has grown into a serious project.

Thanks to the Golden Mask festival, on April 1, Moscow saw and heard Andrei Moguchy’s production of “The Thunderstorm.” The creator of the Formal Theater and artistic director of the Bolshoi Drama Theater named after G.A. Tovstonogov has long been known as a visionary director.

I would like to say a lot of words following the Trans-Siberian Art Festival that ended a week ago. In four years, it has become a ready-made project that has not descended from somewhere above onto Siberian soil; today it is increasingly connected with the Novosibirsk musical culture, and this interdependence benefits both sides. From its first year, the Trans-Siberian Art Festival was very different from much of what Novosibirsk offers to the world, with a clearly defined concept.
