The arrested mayor of Tomsk Makarov voted in the State Duma elections in a pre-trial detention center
Alexander Makarov, who was arrested and temporarily suspended from his post as mayor of Tomsk, voted in the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, an employee of the administration of SIZO-1 of Tomsk told RIA Novosti. "Voting in the pre-trial detention center has ended. We have a 100% turnout, including Alexander Makarov who voted," he said. Makarov's press secretary, Nadezhda Dreval, told RIA Novosti that on the eve of the elections, Makarov said that he would definitely vote.
