The Tuvan temple of Ustuu-Khuree will receive a thousand gold Buddha figurines from Nepal
1,000 golden statuettes of Buddha, created with donations from Tuvans, were brought to Tuva from Nepal. In 2010, they will be consecrated and placed in the Ustuu-Khuree temple in the Dzun-Khemchik district, a spokesman for the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Tuva told Taiga.info on October 28. The figurines were made in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, in three months under the guidance of Lama Tuge Rinpoche. To transport 1,000 golden Buddhas, 40 crates had to be used.
