Scientists have found the largest cemetery of mammoths, deer and Ovcebykov in Siberia
Russian paleontologists discovered the bones of the newborn cubs of the mammoth, horse, northern deer and Ovcebyk on Yamal (peninsula in the north of Western Siberia). According to the Institute of Ecology of Plants and Animals of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, now this is the first such point, at least in the Arctic, where the "maternity hospital" of the species of mammoth fauna has been discovered.
