Police opened a case over the bear hunt of the Irkutsk governor
The Irkutsk police opened a case on illegal hunting. Irkutsk governor Sergey Levchenko could take part in it. The video of the hunt was released ahead of the September 2018 legislative election. “On January 5, 2017, in the daytime, unidentified persons, using firearms, carried out illegal hunting, during which they got a bear, as well as other wild animals,” the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation reported on December 29.
