Novosibirsk Academician lost the election of the head of the Russian Academy of Sciences
Gennady Krasnikov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC Mikron, was elected President of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), who was considered a candidate from representatives of the authorities and other government agencies. Director of the Novosibirsk Institute of Teplophysics Dmitry Markovich lost the election. Earlier, due to pressure from them, the current head of the Russian Academy of Sciences and another scientist removed from them, they said in the “Club of July 1”.
