Murmansk athlete climbed Elbrus with a 75-kilogram barbell
Murmansk powerlifter Andrei Rodichev climbed Elbrus, taking a 75-kilogram barbell with him for the climb, reports TASS. In total, the ascent took 15 days, seven of which were spent on acclimatization. Rodichev was accompanied by professional climbers. As the participants in the climb said, on gentle slopes they moved at a speed of 50 meters per hour, in some sections the speed slowed down to 15 meters per hour.
