In a Yaroslavl village, food and water for pensioners began to be carried by dogs
In the village of Veslevo in the Yaroslavl region, food and water for residents are delivered by dog sled. In winter, the roads to the village are covered with snow, and it is almost impossible to get to the store by car, reports the regional publication Komsomolskaya Pravda. There are no sources of drinking water in the village, and the nearest grocery store is several kilometers away. In severe frosts, older people cannot bring five-liter bottles home on their own.
