According to the human rights project OVD-Info, more than 400 people have been detained in Moscow, Dozhd reports . In the capital, the action takes place on Tverskaya Street (uncoordinated procession) and on Sakharov Avenue (coordinated procession). The exact number of protesters in St. Petersburg is unknown.

The human rights project OVD-Info reported 731 detained participants in the action against corruption in Moscow. The uncoordinated march along Tverskaya and the coordinated rally on Sakharov Avenue have now been completed. The streets are open to car traffic. “They (the detainees) were taken to 39 police departments. Information is being supplemented and updated, calls to the hotline and reports of arrests through the Red Button application do not stop,” the message says.

Actions are planned to be held in more than 200 cities of Russia. Alexei Navalny's press secretary Kira Yarmysh told RBC that events have been coordinated in 169 cities and in 102 local authorities have approved sites for anti-corruption marches.
