In Novosibirsk, a former policeman received a life sentence for the murder of 19 women
In Novosibirsk, a court sentenced a 52-year-old ex-policeman, who killed 19 women, to life imprisonment in a special regime colony. As reported by the Investigative Committee for the Novosibirsk Region, from 1998 to 2005, Evgeny Chuplinsky used the services of sex workers, killed them, dismembered them, and hid their remains in landfills and along roadsides. It was possible to establish the identity of the serial killer only ten years later using a biological trace left at the crime scene.
