The head of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, Alexei Kudrin, said that the level of poverty in Russia remains high, and 13.2 million people have income below the subsistence level, Interfax reports . According to Kudrin, a total of 19.3 million people can be called poor. However, in 2018, for the first time in the last four years, the Accounts Chamber predicts an increase in real incomes of the population.
