A Nizhny Novgorod schoolboy who cannot swim saved a drowning man
In Nizhny Novgorod, a schoolboy and a student saved a man drowning in a lake. The director of school No. 176, Irina Ovchinnikova, told RIA Novosti about this. A 10th grade student and his friend, a technical school student, were walking around Lake Meshcherskoye and saw a man drowning. They called rescuers, an ambulance, and walked on the ice themselves. The friends collected branches and sticks and handed them to the man. When the victim grabbed hold, they pulled him to safety.
