In Yekaterinburg, construction workers rescued a dog that fell through the ice in Lake Shartash. The animal tried unsuccessfully to get ashore for about 40 minutes. According to E1.ru, having noticed a drowning dog, the builders first tried to pull it out with a rope, and then decided to cut through the ice with an excavator so that it could get to land on its own. As a result, one of the men climbed into the bucket, and the driver of the excavator brought the bucket closer to the animal.
