When in 2009 the four -year -old Makar was first diagnosed with an “autistic spectrum disorder”, in Belgorod, where the boy and his mother Natalya lived, there was practically nothing for such children - neither early help nor educational opportunities. In 2013, Natalya Zlobina created the “every special” fund to systematically help the families of the Belgorod region, in which children with mental characteristics grow. This was followed by years of labor, slow, but fundamental changes.

In Russia, more and more patients with orphan diseases are transferred from original drugs to generics. “Such things” talked with people living with cystic fibrosis about how the replacement of vital drugs is reflected in health and why the struggle for access to proven drugs turns into a struggle for survival.
