Scrum is one of the most popular methodologies of the so -called flexible (Agile) product development. The term Scrum ("Fight" in English) is borrowed from rugby. He describes the reception when a group of players from both teams forms a bow above the ball. At first, the technique was used to create and support the software. Now it is more and more actively used in various fields.

The SCRUM project management format came from the IT industry and is associated with the methodology of projects of any complexity. The word translates as a “fight” and as a special term is used in rugby: scrum - a fight by the ball. The basis of Scrum : involvement of participants, self -organization, readiness for changes, regular feedback. The project is divided into separate tasks (sprints), for crossfunctional teams of 3-9 people.
