Human -oriented design (SOP) is one of the most innovative approaches to the process of any development. Previously, this term was often used as a synonym for designing user (user Centered Design, OPP), but is now recognized as a separate concept. If the OPP can be considered the phrase: “Know your user”, then Leitmotif Chop - “See the Human User” . OPP is concentrated on the study of the user in the process of interacting with the product.

1. It all starts with the plan Think about the composition and interests of the audience. What they need, and what you can give them from this. Make a plan based on the needs of the audience. Standard plan: introduction - a description of the problem - solutions - call to action. 2. One slide - one thought Do not overload the slide with information. Even if there are graphs, images and additional text on the slide, all this should work for one basic idea.

The Center for Digital Humanitarian Research of the Higher School of Economics from 9 to 12 October 2017 organizes a school. On it, participants will study geoinformation research methods, tools for automatically processing text data and their visualization, and will also develop their project under the guidance of experts. The school will be interesting to master, graduate students and those who are interested in the digital humanities (Digital Humanities).
