Forecasts are getting worse: what will happen to oil prices in 2019
The Christmas holidays, due to which all the world's largest exchanges are closed today, gave falling markets a short respite and gave traders the opportunity to consider further tactics. Investment banks, meanwhile, are urgently changing their oil price forecasts for 2019. However, if oil continues to fall in price at the same pace as yesterday (a barrel of Brent fell by 6.22% during the day, to almost $50), the forecasts may have to be revised again.
