The largest banks predicted an increase in oil prices to $70 in 2019
The world's largest banks are counting on a recovery in oil prices next year, as fears of a recession are groundless, writes Bloomberg. More. Despite the fall in the oil market (since the beginning of October, prices have fallen by 40%), most of the 24 analysts surveyed by Bloomberg see no signs of an impending recession. They expect Brent to average $70 a barrel next year and WTI $61.13 a barrel next year. On Tuesday, Brent is trading around $53, while WTI is trading around $45 per barrel.
