The change of power in Venezuela did not succeed without direct US intervention. Lavrov will discuss this with Pompeo
The "interim president" of Venezuela, Juan Guaido, admitted that the quick change of power in the country based on part of the military had failed, as well as the "last stage" of the overthrow of the regime of Nicolás Maduro announced by him on April 29. Guaido did not rule out US military assistance, while Maduro is preparing for American aggression, and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is preparing for a meeting with Sergey Lavrov.
