The ruble is the most undervalued currency in the Big Mac Index, according to a traditional study published by The Economist. According to him, the ruble was undervalued by 64.5%. This is more than the Ukrainian hryvnia, Romanian leu, South African rand and Malaysian ringgit. In the US, a Big Mac costs $5.74, while in Russia it costs 130 rubles (about $2). According to the Big Mac index, the ruble was also called the most undervalued currency six months ago.
