Sri Lanka will give visas to Russians for free
The authorities of Sri Lanka will start issuing free visas to Russians from August 1, 2019 until February 1, 2020, Reuters reports citing official documents. In addition to Russia, free entry to the country will be provided to citizens of another 47 countries, including the UK, Australia, Canada, EU countries, Thailand, China, and South Korea. This measure is associated with a sharp drop in tourist traffic in May by 70% after the terrorist attack in the country.
