IKEA will start selling meatballs from Nimlyas
Since August of this year, the largest furniture retailer of IKEA will begin to sell meatballs from plant meat, writes Financial Times. They will consist of pea protein, oats, potatoes and apples, but look like meat and practically do not taste. The main goal is to reduce the carbon trace of the company: a vegetarian meatballs gives 25 times less emissions than traditional pork and beef. This is a part of the new strategy of the company, which should become "climatose" in 2030.
