The European Union will limit itself to targeted sanctions against Russian officials - Bloomberg
The European Union is preparing to impose sanctions against Russia, but the Kremlin may not be impressed, writes Bloomberg. The EU may follow the path of restrictions on entry and freezing of assets of individual Russians, but sanctions, according to the publication, will most likely not be imposed against Nord Stream 2. While countermeasures against Russia are "almost inevitable," all EU action could be asset freezes and travel bans on some Russian officials, Bloomberg sources say.
