The number of people detained at rallies in support of the arrested politician Alexei Navalny on January 23, according to the OVD-Info integrator , approached 3,300 throughout Russia. Project coordinator Leonid Drabkin said that this is a record for all ten years of its existence. As of the early morning of Sunday, January 24, 3,296 people were detained. More than a third of the arrests occurred in Moscow (1294), half of the detainees fell on the capitals (in St. Petersburg - 489).
