The Lancet published the results of the final phase of testing of Sputnik V
According to the interim results of the third phase of trials of the Russian COVID-19 vaccine Sputnik V, the effectiveness of the drug was 91.6%, according to data published in the medical journal The Lancet. Data from 19,866 volunteers were analyzed, of which 14,964 received the vaccine and 4,902 received a placebo, the publication says. By the end of the trial, 78 participants had contracted the coronavirus, of which 62 received a placebo.
