The Russian stock market fell at the beginning of trading to a minimum since March - in the premarket, the drop reached 7%. At the same time, there were no significant news events that could lead to a collapse on the morning of December 14. The Moscow exchange index IMOEX2, which is used in morning trading, fell by 7.3% on December 14, follows from the chart on the exchange website. At its low, the index fell to 3352.5 points, the lowest level since March 4, 2021.
