Tesla will abandon new models to increase production
Tesla, the largest electric car manufacturer, reported record results for 2021, in which it almost doubled deliveries (+87%, to 936,222 cars). However, the company has experienced global logistical problems and, because of them, will refuse to expand its lineup for the time being. Profit in 2021 hit a record $5.5 billion on revenue of $53.8 billion. Gross margin for the auto business rose to 29.3% from 25.6% in 2020.
