The Ministry of Finance predicted a 12% drop in GDP in 2022 - Bloomberg
Due to sanctions, Russia's GDP in 2022 may decrease by 12%. Such an assessment is given in an internal report of the Russian Ministry of Finance, writes Bloomberg. As the agency notes, if the forecast of the Ministry of Finance comes true, such a collapse will be comparable to the economic shocks of the 1990s. Then, as a result of the reforms, the Russian economy began to move towards capitalism, while simultaneously experiencing the deepest recession since the Second World War.
