Veon agreed to sell VimpelCom to management
The Dutch Veon announced that it had agreed to transfer the Russian VimpelCom to management, and disclosed the details of the deal. Veon quotes on the Moscow Exchange increased by 40%. According to RBC , which was the first to announce the completion of the transaction, it may be cashless, but a significant share of Veon's debt, which amounted to $8.2 billion in the third quarter of this year, will be rewritten to VimpelCom.
