Regional tax revenues fell for the first time since the pandemic
In October, tax revenues to the budgets of Russian regions for the first time in 2022 decreased by 6.6% year-on-year, to 1.3 trillion rubles, calculated FinExpertiza . The total tax revenues of the state thanks to oil and gas money so far exceed last year's, but the positive gap is steadily narrowing. The fall in tax revenues of the regions in annual terms occurred for the first time since the beginning of the post-pandemic economic recovery, namely, since January 2021, that is, in 20 months.
