In Russia, the growth of real wages with new hires has stopped
According to Financial Times calculations based on hiring advertisements, real wage growth in Russia stopped growing in November. In other words, the growth in nominal wages of new employees in annual terms - 6.9% - was almost equal to annual inflation - 6.6%. Back in January, nominal growth was around 18.9%. At the same time, unemployment remains at a historical low of 2.2%.
