Co-founder and former press secretary of the torrent tracker The Pirate Bay, Peter Sunde, who spent five months in prison for copyright infringement, has been released. A message about this appeared on the Internet activist’s Twitter account on November 10. Peter Sunde was arrested by Swedish authorities in May this year on charges of piracy. According to the sentence passed in absentia, he was supposed to spend eight months in prison, but was released early.
