Results 2016: High-profile bills that were never adopted by the State Duma
The year 2016, among other events, was marked by elections to the State Duma. The deputies of the sixth convocation, who over five years of work adopted only 15% of the bills they introduced, were replaced by a new parliament. At the same time, the main deputies, known for their high-profile initiatives, remained in the State Duma. They were reinforced by no less odious colleagues from regions who had already distinguished themselves with controversial ideas.
