In Tomsk, on Lenin Square, the “Century Pillars” were dismantled for their reconstruction
The city administration contractor has begun repairing the Centennial Pillars of the 400th Anniversary of Tomsk, the press service of the mayor's office reports. Today the monument was dismantled from Lenin Square. During the reconstruction, the contractor will overhaul four century-old pillars (foundations, pillars, facing tiles), 16 lanterns (foundations, facing tiles, pillars, lamps), eight urns (walls, facing tiles), and restore the brickwork.
