By 2024, Russians should have the opportunity to use electronic passports, Medvedev said. In this regard, he instructed to determine the final, optimal type of this document as soon as possible, as well as with its content and protection. The head of government emphasized that it is necessary to make a transition to new passports painless, especially for the elderly.
