What could a new international monetary system look like?
06 February 2012, 04:02 / Finance What could a new international monetary system look like? David Fuller Countries were able to agree on a single international monetary system only at Bretton Woods in 1944. Then Boris Yeltsin and Yegor Gaidar put the newborn democracy at risk. Passion and responsibility failed them. Yeltsin seized power, apparently not really realizing what kind of legacy he was accepting. Gaidar immediately began to do what he could not help but do.
