Locarno Film Festival: How to Say No to a Dictator
Locarno Film Festival All good films about the end of a dictatorship are best seen in a public square, and Pablo Larrain's No was shown in the Piazza Grande. No doesn't fit the synopsis of "a film about how an advertising man brought down the Pinochet regime." At this year's Cannes Film Festival, the film won the Directors' Fortnight prize, and in Locarno it was shown after the award ceremony for actor Gael García Bernal.
