A powerful explosion occurred in the embassy quarter in Kabul
During the morning rush hour of May 31, a car bomb exploded in central Kabul. A powerful explosion occurred at 8.25 am local time in the “embassy quarter”, nearby is the presidential palace and the embassies of the USA, Great Britain, Iran, Turkey and China. The car that was blown up was located in Zahnbak Square, the BBC reports . As told Kabul police spokesman Basir Mujahid Reuters, the entrance to the German Embassy was closest to the site of the explosion.

SBU Bans Seven Russian Cultural Figures from Entering Ukraine
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has banned Russian cultural figures Nikita Mikhalkov, Stanislav Govorukhin, Nadezhda Babkina, Mikhail Zadornov, Irina Alferova, Alexey Panin and Leonid Yarmolnik from entering Ukraine. This is stated in the official response of the special service to a request from the activist of the public movement "Vidsich" Maksym Kovbik, published on Facebook .

Russia responded to the expulsion of its diplomats from Moldova
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared five employees of the Moldovan diplomatic mission persona non grata and ordered them to leave the country within three days. The Russian department announced its decision to Moldavian Minister-Counselor Nikolai Myina on May 31.

Rostelecom acquired 4.14 million series BO-01 bonds for 4.14 billion rubles as part of the offer, buying out 83% of the bonds of this issue. The placement of ten-year series BO-01 bonds in the amount of 5 billion rubles took place in May 2014. The current coupon rate is 8.4% per annum.

Naftogaz: Gazprom's take-or-pay requirements have been completely canceled
Gazprom’s requirements to Naftogaz of Ukraine under the “take or pay” condition have been completely canceled. This was reported to Interfax by the press service of the state holding with reference to the chairman of the board of Naftogaz, Andrei Kobolev. Flynn to testify in Russia probe on June 6
Former US National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, who was ousted amid allegations of ties to Russia, has agreed to testify before a Senate committee investigating Moscow's alleged influence on the US election. He will begin testifying on June 6 and intends to cooperate with the committee as much as possible, as long as it does not infringe on his constitutional rights, a source told Bloomberg.

Moscow will try to equalize renovation expenses with income from the sale of apartments in new buildings
Moscow intends to sell some of the housing that will be built under the renovation program in order to find money to implement this program. This was stated to TASS by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. "We must take into account that one part of the housing will be used for resettlement, and the other will be sold in order to compensate the budget for at least part of the costs," he said.
