The Federation Council commented on Poroshenko's words about the Holodomor
Saying that Russia provoked the Holodomor is immoral, says Vladimir Dzhabarov, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council for International Affairs. "In my opinion, blaming Russia for the Holodomor is Jesuit logic," he told RT . This is how Dzhabarov commented on the words of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, who on Saturday expressed hope that Russia would one day recognize the Holodomor as genocide and repent for it.

Media finds out about Mugabe's salary after resignation
Former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe and his wife Grace will receive monetary compensation in addition to immunity after their removal from power. This was reported by The Guardian newspaper, citing sources. The exact amount has not been disclosed, but it is noted that it is no less than $10 million. According to the publication, Mugabe will be paid at least $5 million immediately and will be paid a salary of $150,000 per month until his death.

Russian Polina Bogusevich Wins Junior Eurovision
The winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 was Russian Polina Bogusevich with the song "Wings". She scored 188 points. Second place went to Georgian participant Grigol Kipshidze (185 points), and third place went to Australian representative Isabella Clark (172 points). This year the contest was held in Tbilisi, with representatives from 16 countries taking part. In 2018, according to the regulations, Russia will host Junior Eurovision.

The Ministry of Defense published a video of Russian Aerospace Forces strikes in Syria
On Sunday, six Russian Tu-22M3 long-range bombers carried out a group strike on the targets of the banned terrorist organization Islamic State in the Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor, the Russian Defense Ministry reported. The aircraft hit strongholds and concentrations of militants in the Euphrates River valley. In Syria, the long-range bombers were covered by Su-30SM and Su-35S fighters based at the Khmeimim airfield. The Ministry of Defense posted a video of the airstrike on YouTube.

Bitcoin price exceeded $9000 for the first time
Bitcoin hit a new all-time high on Sunday morning. Its value on the Coindesk exchange exceeded $9,000 for the first time. In the period from 11.10 Moscow time to 11.15 Moscow time on November 26, Bitcoin cost $9038.29. By noon, the cryptocurrency fell in price. As of 12.10 Moscow time, Bitcoin cost $8890.20 on Coindesk. During the day it increased by 1.44%. As previously reported, Bitcoin has recently begun to be recognized in financial markets.

Car Plows Into Crowd in Cuxhaven, Germany
A car drove into a crowd of people in the German city of Cuxhaven (Lower Saxony) on Sunday morning. Six people were injured, four are in serious condition. As reported by local radio station NDR 1 , the police admit that the driver deliberately drove the car into people. However, law enforcement officials are not yet calling the incident a terrorist attack. The circumstances of the incident and the motives of the man behind the wheel are being investigated.

RFU President calls reports of doping in Russian football stupid
Honorary President of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Vyacheslav Koloskov called information about doping in Russian football utter nonsense. He told RBC about this . Earlier, the Daily Mail reported that the former head of the Moscow anti-doping laboratory, Grigory Rodchenkov, agreed to provide the International Football Federation (FIFA) with evidence of doping by Russian football players. Rodchenkov’s lawyer Jim Walden told the publication about this.

EU calls Russian law on foreign agent media a threat to press freedom
The European External Action Service issued a statement on Sunday commenting on Russia's law on media outlets that are foreign agents, saying it threatens press freedom. “The legislation on foreign agents contradicts Russia’s human rights obligations,” the document also notes. On Saturday, President Vladimir Putin signed a law on media outlets that are foreign agents. It allows media outlets that receive funding from abroad to be recognized as foreign agents.

The jury of the World Golf Awards announced the winners of 2017. Golf courses and golf clubs from Cyprus did not win any international nominations. The winner of the local nomination "Best Golf Courses in Cyprus" was the course of the Aphrodite Hills Golf & Spa Residences resort. The resort has won this award for the second time in a row. Eléa Estate Golf and Secret Valley clubs were also nominated for the award. Aphrodite Hills Golf Resort & Spa is located in Kouklia, 11 km from Paphos Airport.

Kudrin called the law on foreign agents too harsh
Former Finance Minister and Chairman of the Civil Initiatives Committee Alexei Kudrin believes that the Russian law on foreign agents is too harsh.
