Chinese container ship spotted in the port of Sevastopol
Previously, Chinese ships avoided entering ports in territories annexed by Russia. The Chinese container ship Hen Yang 9, which is owned by Guangxi Changhai Shipping Company and flies the flag of Panama, has entered the port of Sevastopol in annexed Crimea, the Financial Times (FT) reports. Journalists call this event “unprecedented”, since Chinese ships previously avoided entering Russian ports in occupied Ukrainian territories.
