We talk more, we pay less
For most of us, the telephone is the only means of live communication with those who are hundreds and thousands of kilometers away - in other cities and countries. When talking on the phone, we hear the intonations of the interlocutor, feel his mood, understand what is not expressed, and, accordingly, “on the fly” we change the direction of the conversation. And our interlocutor too. Neither telegrams, nor letters, nor email can replace a telephone conversation.
