On the seventy-fifth birthday of Zara Mints Zara Grigorievna Mints has not been on earth for almost twelve years. Over the years, a lot has changed - both in now independent Estonia, where most of the life of a teacher (later professor) at the University of Tartu was spent, and in Russia, where she was born, studied, met her future husband - Yuri Mikhailovich Lotman, in that Russia, without which Zara Grigorievna simply would not exist. Much has changed, but for those who knew Z.G.
