Put on Wagner, sing Wagner and play Wagner
Bayreuth festival opens This summer, when several festivals were canceled in France due to strikes, Germany is an example of stability and reliability. The Bayreuth music festival is taking place for the ninety-second time - without any overlap (of course, since tickets are booked seven to ten years in advance). For more than fifty years, Bayreuth has been ruled by Wolfgang Wagner, the grandson of Richard Wagner, whose works are the only ones performed at the festival.
