Today, the rating agency Standard & Poor's publishes a report, “Sberbank Still Dominates the Russian Banking Sector.” According to the agency's estimates, the country's only systemically important bank holds 30-35% of the corporate loan market, 40% of the legal entity deposit market, and more than 2/3 of retail deposits. And, according to S&P, only foreign banks can seriously shake the position of Sberbank, whose rapid expansion is no longer in doubt among most experts.
