The Barclays took over the Telegraph
One of the oldest British newspapers, the Daily Telegraph, is changing owners. Now this conservative publication will belong to twin brothers David and Frederick Barclay, who won the auction the day before yesterday from the investment group 3i. In accordance with the deal, the Barclay billionaires will own not only the Daily Telegraph, but also its Sunday edition, the Sunday Telegraph, as well as the socio-political weekly Spectator.
