Metals are falling in price sharply
A fairly strong drop in prices for most non-ferrous metals occurred yesterday on the London Metal Exchange (LME), the main trading platform for non-ferrous metals. According to Bloomberg, zinc fell the most - three-month contracts fell in price by 8.2% in the morning, to $2.02 thousand per ton, and this was the lowest price since January 12 of this year. By closing, however, the price had risen slightly - to 2,119 thousand dollars per ton.
